Cecile Martin will speak

Ken Willingham worship leader

The culture of our world, our community, and, in some cases, even our family seems to be in a state of progressive deterioration. I think we can agree that there are times we feel we are walking across a field full of landmines. What’s going to blow first? Is there a solution to this madness?

Yes there is. Communities. Small communities, small cooperative communities encourage a common sense way of life and a deepening of human relationships. Small communities have a way of inspiring people to fulfill a higher potential, to communicate at deeper levels, and to learn what love is all about.

Cecile Martin has been a member of the Ananda community in Northern California since the early 1990s. Ananda is one of the most successful cooperative communities in the world, founded in 1968, and has grown to have communities throughout the world. The principles they live by, one of which is “people before things”, can most certainly help us all remember that respect and love go a long way in creating peaceful, harmonious living.
