Diversity...a Welcoming Congregation
A wide variety of beliefs and religious backgrounds are represented among our members and friends of the church. Our members are free to practice what they believe. Unitarian Universalism is a creedless faith. We are often asked what holds us together in such a diverse atmosphere. Seven guiding principles set forth by the UUA bind us together. Despite our disparate beliefs, Unitarians share more values than any other denomination. At UUCE, you will find Christians, Jews, Pagans, Agnostics, and many other belief systems represented. Additionally, UUCE is a home for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered people. All are welcome at UUCE.

Unitarian Universalists seek to be whole human beings. In gratitude for the wondrous gift of life, we seek to be compassionate servers. Recognizing that human vision is imperfect and human knowledge incomplete, we seek to open our minds and hearts to the wisdom to be found in world religions and the experiences of those who have gone before us.
